Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice

Qualification Objective

This qualification is for those looking to undertake the role of an internal quality assurer for qualification assessments. Candidates may also already be undertaking the role of an internal quality assurer, but want to formulate these by undertaking this recognized qualification.

Benefits to Learners

This qualification demonstrates competence and provides recognition of knowledge and understanding of the assessment of occupational competence in a work environment or vocational skills, knowledge, and understanding in a training provider, FE college or an organization’s in-house training department in a variety of sectors. This qualification could help progression into an assessment role.

Learner Entry Requirements

There are no specific recommended prior learning requirements for this qualification. Entry is at the discretion of the center; however, learners should be aged 19 years and over to take this qualification.
Learners must have sufficient command of the English language to understand and undertake the recommended assessment methods for this qualification.

There are no other prerequisites for this qualification. However, learners should be able to work at level 2 and above.

Certification
The successful delegate will receive a certificate.
